what to expect

Your First Appointment

When you book in for your Executive Health Assessment, your Naturopathic Doctor will be in contact with you prior to your visit to send over the necessary requisition forms for testing. If you opted not to complete the complimentary 15 minute consult, this is a good time to discuss with your practitioner any ‘add-ons’ you’d like to include.

The baseline blood work typically takes one week to come in. We will ensure your visit is completed once we have received your lab results, so you get the most out of your appointment. We go over your results together and what this means for your health. We will also review your entire medical history, social history, review of systems, full physical exams, any current health concerns, as well as your future health goals. If anything is flagged on your blood work, we will ensure risk counselling is provided promptly. This visit is very detailed and is typically 1.5-2 hours in length. At the end of the visit, you will receive a customized treatment plan that aligns with your health goals and risks.

what do i bring?

We ask that prior to your first appointment, you take the time to complete our initial intake forms. We also ask that any additional recent blood work, imaging, or testing be sent to us in advance of your visit in order to more efficiently use our time together.

Follow Up Appointments

Follow-up appointments are not required but are recommended to ensure you get the most out of your treatment with us. Follow up visits are shorter in length, and are used to provide ongoing treatment. They allow us to monitor your progress and modify your treatment plan as needed. Depending on the level of support you’re interested in, the first follow-up visit may be booked anywhere from 1-4 weeks after your initial visit, and subsequent follow-up visits will be booked further apart. As you continue with care, follow-ups are not required as frequently and bi-annual to annual check ins are preferred.
